Canadian curler Briane Harris is now eligible to return to competition after nearly a year-long suspension. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled today that Harris, who plays lead for Team Kerri Einarson, is free to resume her career.

Harris tested positive for trace amounts of Ligandrol in January during an out-of-competition test and was subsequently suspended. However, an arbitrator determined that Harris was not at fault or negligent in the violation and imposed no period of ineligibility.

Harris is now cleared to return to the ice. More details to follow.
